Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and based on Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Early Education and Care, Department of Public Health, and CDC guidance, the Whitin Community Center is requiring everyone coming to WCC to complete a DAILY SCREENING BEFORE arrival.
To complete the DAILY SCREENING either use this link, https://qrco.de/WHITINCC or the QR Code using a Personal Computer, Tablet or Smartphone. (Access to the questionnaire does require an internet connection or wireless access).

COVID-19 Waiver

All Members, guests and customers must complete this form prior to coming to the WCC. You will only be required to complete this from once.

NOTICE: THIS IS A LEGALLY BINDING AGREEMENT.  Read this document carefully and in entirety.  By signing this agreement, you give up your right to bring a court action to recover compensation or obtain any other remedy for any personal injury or property damage however caused arising out of your participation in George Marston Whitin Memorial Community Association, Inc. (“WCC”) Activities and Programs, now or at any time in the future.

Reserve Your Space For Your Favorite Activities!

Dear Members,
We are so excited to be expanding our Supersaas online reservation system at WCC! You will use Supersaas to make your reservation(s) for your favorite exercise options including; Aqua & Floor Aerobics classes, the Fitness Room, Lap Swim & Adult Exercise Swim times, Open Recreational Swimming & Basketball, Racquetball & Pickleball & Spin! Reservations can be made 48 hours in advance of the class and are reserved for Members only.

Supersaas

Creating Your Supersaas Account

  • Log in to Supersaas using the email address you registered with us as the user name and your WCC Swipe Card Number (i.e. WCC48026) as your password.
  • If you don’t have a WCC Swipe Card or do not know your swipe card number, you can call the Member Services Desk for assistance.
  1. Each customer must have their own email address. If you share an email address with someone else please contact Karen Boyle or a Member Services Representative with a different one for your partner.
  2. You will then be able to view the schedule of activities on your phone or desktop. It will be in a calendar format.
  • Click on the date and activity you want to reserve. (Remember that you cannot reserve a slot more than 48 hours in advance.)
  • A box will open with a description of the activity. Click on “New Reservation”.
  • Type in your Full Name and phone#.
  • Click “Create reservation”.
  • You will receive an email confirmation.
  • Your reservation is now stored in the database.
  • If an activity is full, you will automatically be put on a Waitlist.
  • If a slot opens up, your name will automatically be put on the activity list and you will receive an email.
  • To cancel your reservation, click on the activity.
  • Find your name.
  • Click on “Edit” Feature to the right of your name.
  • Delete your slot by choosing the Trash bin.
  • You will receive an email confirming your cancellation.
  • Moving forward you will receive emails for any cancelled or changed activities.

Some things you need to keep in mind:

  • Each person must have their own email and login information. (You cannot sign up for more than one slot in a class using your login)
  • Reservations may be made up to 48 hours  in advance of the class and are reserved for Members only.
  • Cancellations must be made up to 2 hours in advance. Failure to cancel in advance more than three times will result in Supersaas automatically suspending your login and you will not have online access to pre-register for activities.
  • You may also call the Member Services Desk to reserve a slot. They will be able to register members who do not have access to the Supersaas program and they can add you to the online roster. Please keep in mind that you will still need an email address on file to be able to do this.
We’re excited and hope that you are too! This is the next step in providing better customer service to you, our valued members! We are looking forward to beginning this new chapter in online programming.

Mud Rooms & Day Lockers!
Are Now Available To Members & Guests

In anticipation of the cooler weather, we have added two Mud Rooms for your convenience:
  • Mud Room located in the Original Pool Hallway
  • Mud Room located in the Competition Pool Hallway
Each Mud Room is equipped with socially distanced chairs, hooks for your coats, umbrellas and/or gym bags, and shoe/boot trays.
NOTE: Please do not leave any valuables in the Mud Room. WCC is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.

In addition, we also have added a set of Day Lockers for your use:
  • Day Lockers located in the Fitness Room hallway
  • Existing Day Lockers located in Family Changing Room hallway.
NOTE: Day Lockers are for the day use only, no overnight storage. Please remove any locks after use, and wipe down locker using wipes from the Fitness Room. WCC is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.

Women's Showers

Things are looking up! The Whitin Community Center has been given the green light from the Northbridge Board of Health and Fire Department to open up the Women’s Showers! Beginning Monday, October 5th, only the 11 Women’s Showers will be available to our women Members & Guests.
Women may access the showers by entering through the back entrance of the Women’s Locker Room, by the Original Pool.
NOTE: Only the Women’s Showers will be opening on October 5th. Please understand that the Women’s Lockers, Sauna, Changing Area, and Bathrooms, along with the entire Men’s Locker Room, will remain closed until further notice.

CLOSED For Cleaning – 9:00am-10:00am
Showers OPEN – 10:00am -3:00pm
CLOSED For Cleaning – 3:00pm-4:00pm

Saturday & Sunday
Showers Open – 6:00am-12:00pm

While we are super excited about opening the Women’s Showers, unfortunately at this time due to health and safety guidelines we are still unable to open the Men’s Showers, because of its “open” design. However, for men we continue to offer the 3 Family Locker Rooms located across from the Aerobics Studio, that contain showers and changing areas.
