We have positions available at the pools, for group aqua classes, maintenance and for childcare. Part-Time Lifeguards
This position is responsible for lifeguarding the pool, ensuring the safety of all members and guests, enforcing pool rules, and implementing emergency response plans as needed. Must be certified as an American Red Cross Water Lifeguard. First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications are prerequisites for this position.

Part-Time Water Safety Instructors
As a Water Safety Instructor at the Whitin Community Center you will be responsible for teaching various American Red Cross Instructional Swim Programs. Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications are prerequisites for this position.

Part-Time Aerobics Instructor
The Aerobics Instructor instructs quality group fitness classes, provides excellent customer service to members in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that promotes member wellness in accordance with WCC policies and procedures. Must be Group Exercise Certified. Additional certifications, such as Spinning or any other discipline, is a plus. Instructors wanted for morning cardio, senior, or aqua classes.

Weekend Party Attendant
Whitin Community Center Party Attendants are part of the WCC team responsible for providing engaging support to families, and guidance during parties/rentals. This can include setting up and taking down tables/seating, ushering guests to and from locations, assisting with decorations or party set up, leading game play for children, etc.

Full-Time BVCP PRESCHOOL TEACHER
The Teacher in Blackstone Valley Children’s Place participates in the planning and implementation of a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate program and assesses the children’s progress in all areas of development. Must be EEC Teacher Qualified.
