The Whitin Community Center is pleased to offer membership scholarship opportunities to qualifying youth, seniors, and families. The amount of money available for such scholarships each year is dependent upon money raised through donations, grants, and fundraising events.
A condition of receiving a scholarship is that the applicant must meet low to medium income eligibility requirements as defined by the Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). The information you provide will be kept confidential and will not be shared.
Please complete the Scholarship Membership Form and attach a copy of all income verification; tax return, social security award, disability compensation, etc. and return to Karen Boyle, Director of Member Services, at the Whitin Community Center’s Member Services Desk. Scholarships will be reviewed on a first-come, first served basis and all applicants will be notified of a final decision.
